ODE R-Flex Pipe

Wholly flexible, prefabricated pipe insulation manufactured from elastomeric rubber foam material in the form of pipes, for use on piping installations on cold and warm lines.

The ODE R-FLEX Pipe is offered in two groups, PRM (Premium) and STD (Standard).

 

It is manufactured unfaced or with various types of facing with diameters of 6 mm 114 mm and thicknesses of 6 mm - 32 mm.

ODE R-FLEX PRM ALU PIPE

 

Aluminum foil faced prefabricated pipe insulation manufactured from elastomeric rubber foam material in the form of pipes, for use on piping installations on cold and warm lines.

 

It is covered with aluminum facing with a thickness of 58 micron.

  • Provides high thermal insulation performance, high water vapor diffusion resistance factor, as well as energy efficiency and protection of installation when used for the insulation of installations
  • It strengthens the product's water vapor diffusion resistance by virtue of the the foil layer on the exterior of the pipe.
  • Increases resistance to shocks.
  • Protection from UV rays can be achieved by selecting the AL CLAD facing type.
  • Foil covered products prevent possible errors in workmanship and saves labor.
  • Visually complements areas in internal surfaces that can not be coated with a protective layer.

ODE KONFiX (ODE R-FLEX ADHESIVE)

 

Synthetic rubber based super-strong adhesive used in ODE R-flex applications. Prevents convection currents at joints, facilitates easy and fast installation. Surfaces to which the product shall be applied should not be greasy or dusty, and ODE Konfix should be applied by using a roll, brush, or spray gun equally on both surfaces, and adhesion should be ensured under constant pressure. The drying period varies between 10 seconds and 4 minutes, and the time required for complete adhesion is 24 hours.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

 

1. If pipework has already been installed, cut the ODE R-Flex Pipe lengthwise. Use only sharp blades for cutting. This will make it easier for you to apply the adhesive.
2. Place the Ode R-Flex pipe around the pipe that is to be insulated, and apply Ode R-Flex Adhesive on the edges on the end section as well as the edges that have been formed along the slit.
3. Once you are sure the adhesive is dry, gently press both edges of the slit together, sticking them together.
4. Cut a part a few mmlonger than required tocover the region betweentwo insulating pipes. If the piece you cut is not long enough, it will make the insulation properties in the area worse.
5. Cut a piece that is a few mm longer than is needed to cover the seam between two insulation pipes. If the piece you have cut is not long enough, the insulating properties in this area will suffer.
