Sound insulation has become mandatory with the "Regulation on Protection of Buildings Against Noise" which came into effect on June 1, 2018. ODE STARFLEX ECO Acoustic glass wool partition board provides superior sound insulation with its system of application.

 

SOUND ABSORPTION COEFFICIENT

 

The sound absorption coefficient is a measure of reduction of sound energy. The sound absorption coefficient defines the relationship between the sound energy that is absorbed and the sound energy that reaches the surface.

 

The ODE STARFLEX ECO Acoustic Board has a sound absorption coefficient in the range of (α)= 0.79 -1 and a sound absorption of 80 - 100%.

A wooden or metal framework is constructed in advance on the area on which the product will be applied. The ODE Glasswool Partition Board is placed between the frame profiles. Plaster boards are affixed to the surface facing the interior space or on both surfaces depending on the place of application. It is recommended that rubber tapes are attached to the framework prior to the application of plaster boards in order to prevent the formation of sound bridges.
