ODE Flex Application Details

ODEFLEX Sheets are cut into 4 pieces according to duct sections. Before insulation the surface shall be free from dust, dirt and water. In case the prepared sheet are not self adhesive, 150-200 gr/m3 ODE Konfix shall be spread on to the duct or the sheet and it is adhered after waiting some time. At the joining points ODE Tape is used to maintain impermeability. If the ODEFLEX Sheet 6 mm thick, it can be wrapped to the duct without cutting. But if is 10mm or more thick, it shall be cut as 4 pieces of sheet. Flanges and corners shall be insulated with tapes.

Application in Big Diameter Pipes:

• It is freed from dirt, rust and oil.
• ODEFLEX is cut according to the pipe diameter.
• ODE Confix is applied to the pipe surface and to the sheet.
• Wait for 10 min. and then adhere.
• Apply ODE Tape to joining parts.

Application:

• Ducts are prepared according to design values.
• Flange promeshs are cut in appropriate lengths so that the mastic filling inside is not damaged.
• Corner parts are placed inside the flanges.
• The prepared flange frame is assembled to the duct beginning from one corner.
• All the section of the duct is assembled to the flange beginning from the corner of the promesh.
• Beginning form one corner of the frame and working in one direction, it is fixed in accordance with Table 1.
• Neoprene seal is placed in the side section of the duct. It shall be applied as one piece and it shall be adhered with overlapping of 10 mm.
• Fixing distances will be done in accordance with Table 2.
